Wednesday Jul 01, 2020
Wednesday Jul 01, 2020
Have you ever knew that you needed a change but were too afraid of actually initiating that change? How about fear of failing or struggling with impostor syndrome? Jordyn has dealt with those feelings head on as serial solopreneur, successfully starting and running two businesses. Even after getting her jewelry line in Nordstroms, Jordyn still felt feelings of failure and impostor syndrome creep in but she hasn't let them hold her back. Listen as Jordyn describes the tools she used to get through these feelings and advance beyond them. Be inspired as she also talks about risk and having the courage to move forward. She reminds us that staying put or going back just may be riskier than the possibility of failure.

Ep.23 It’s OK to be Overcoming-My Experience As A Healthcare Provider During Covid 19
Wednesday Jun 24, 2020
Wednesday Jun 24, 2020
I hesitated recording this for a long time. It took me even longer to get up enough courage to release it. I struggled with things like, “who cares what my experience was like.” “I didn’t have it as bad as some.” “What if people think I’m weak.” “What if people judge me.”
The reality is that we all have our own unique experiences during this pandemic. I would never judge someone else’s experience. Why should I judge my own? Some days are good and some are hard. What our tribe, the ones who listen to this podcast, can agree on is that we are overcomers. We make the decision to not stay stuck. Even though I’m still walking through this, it is getting better...because I’m choosing to make sure it does.
Listen as I vulnerability talk about what it was like to work on the front lines and other surprising experiences I’ve had along the way. I hope this helps you to know that you’re not alone and that we can get through this together.

Ep. 21 Ryan Lynn Challenges How We Define Success
Wednesday Jun 10, 2020
Wednesday Jun 10, 2020
IT Thought Leader Ryan Lynn gives us the opportunity to challenge our view of success and shares the most important evolution of skills that have shaped his own.
When driven people exhaust all of the goals in their bucket and its empty, that's when they can feel stuck. Ryan says that he's had the privilege of being stuck many times because after that always comes the growth. He compares his journey to a hike, filled with false summits. When people think they have reached the summit, only to find that it was only the next peak, it is easy to become discouraged. When we encounter that false summit we can either be defeated and quit or we can embrace it and keep going. It's okay to sit for a bit, but how long is up to you. What he's learned is that the feeling of the actual summit only lasts for a few moments and all of that hard work and time was spent for only a few seconds of enjoyment so enjoy the journey. He also acknowledges that other people are going to carry you much further than you could go on your own.
Ryan shares what he learned from his own father and his experience as a driven dad. He also gives tips for growth of mind, body, and spirit that will lead to success. Success is ultimately defined by you!
